My Story
Marcoiya Fair is a dynamic and results-driven Human Resources (HR) professional with experience spanning multiple industries, including information technology (IT), manufacturing, insurance, professional services, retail, consulting, and healthcare. She has thrived within Big Tech organizations, Fortune 500 companies, and Big 4 Public Accounting Firms, where she has developed deep expertise in talent acquisition, new hire onboarding, diversity and inclusion, benefits administration, training and development, and general HR operations.
A lifelong learner and strategic thinker, Marcoiya has earned professional certifications in negotiation, interview architecture, diversity and inclusion, event planning, and project management. These credentials, combined with her corporate background and industry insight, enable her to design people-centered strategies that drive both organizational performance and individual career growth.

Beyond her corporate work, Marcoiya is the President and CEO of Fair Share Consulting LLC, where she partners with students, professionals, and organizations to elevate resumes, strengthen LinkedIn profiles, sharpen interview skills, and build compelling professional brands. Known for her ability to connect authentically and translate experience into impact, she has helped countless individuals navigate career entry, advancement, and transition with clarity and confidence.

Marcoiya is also a highly sought-after speaker, panelist, and workshop facilitator on career development, workplace equity, and the future of work. She has spoken at DisruptHR Chicago at the House of Blues and served as a panelist for the DIGIM College Fair at the University of Illinois Chicago and the Chicagoland Summit on STEMM Equity and Excellence hosted at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry. Her expertise has also been featured through panels and webinars for Uber, the Metropolitan Board of the Chicago Urban League, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., the Glen Ellyn Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR).

In addition, Marcoiya has facilitated career workshops and speaking sessions for the Building Wealth Today for Tomorrow Financial Empowerment Summit in partnership with Chicago City Treasurer Melissa Conyears-Ervin and BMO Financial Group, led resume and LinkedIn workshops for the Cook County Sheriff’s Office Career Expo, and delivered professional development programming for the National Association of African American Resume Writers (NAAARW). Her academic speaking engagements include guest lectures at North Central College, National Louis University, and Huston-Tillotson University.

Marcoiya holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as an MBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Webster University.
